I feel like it's always something - wonder week, growth spurt, teething, learning a new physical skill - something is always throwing a wrench in things! I'm not sure if I buy into WWs....I mean, obviously he is learning new stuff but I'm not sure if it correlates with fussiness.

@runsyellowlites: I never realize it's a WW until AFTER LO has a meltdown. I always freak until I realize we've hit yet another WW!

@betsyboop: Ugh! Atleast we can find "reason" in the change... with DS I didn't know about wonder weeks and drastic changes in behavior always threw me for a loop! lol

@autumnlove: I just learned about them when P was born and they have pretty much been spot on for changes in behavior & sleep patterns for her! Basically there are certain weeks of age that major brain development occurs and during this time an infant can experience disruption in behavior and sleep. At first it didn't seem to be lining up but then I realized I needed to go by P's edd and not when she arrived 12 days later. Since then it's been so helpful in me keeping my sanity! lol

We just started a Wonder Week too. These times are so hard. I've realized my LO's public tantrums always occur during a WW. Joy!

And here we are yet again approaching a wonder week, just entering the grey "may be more fussy" period and poor P just can't sleep for squat! I hate it... she wakes multiple times before we head to bed and then nurses almost all night long. Thus far she goes right back to herself when it passes but I feel so bad for her during them. I know I hate not being able to sleep so I'd imagine she would too. Sigh.... the joys of infanthood.
