A big boo to the people that closed my local library for repairs for a full year (they could have done the work in three months IMHO), and a big thank you to kind people that leave books lying around in public when they've read them and don't want them any more! Our county library system is kinda rural-ish so I think I have better luck borrowing audiobooks than some other places but it's worth a shot!</p> <p>I read a lot and always have an audiobook and a regular book going but I've been reading a longer series over the summer which is slow going so I'm taking my time. I set a goal of one book a week when I was goal setting for 2016 back in January, but I didn't plan on getting a new job that took me from commuting via metro train to driving - which totally drove down my average! I don't think I've read one book since starting my new job in May :(</p> <p>ETA: I think my average is only ten this year so far! eek!</p> <p>This is a silly question, but is it possible to 'rent' audio books for my iPhone (to play via bluetooth)? Do you set goals for yourself at the beginning of the year? </p> <p>I set a goal of 20 books starting in April, so I got a late start but I am now up to 28 books. Being a parent that's huge haha! I'm so happy I've made some time this year for reading, which I really enjoy. </p>
