<description>&#60;p&#62;If he's within the ballpark on average, I wouldn't worry. We had a preemie and our ped had us keep track of intake as a rolling average in conjunction with diaper output, he never gave us a specific number of feedings.

&#60;p&#62;It sounds like hes eating just fine. Recommendations are just that. They're not always true or accurate for all babies.

<description>&#60;p&#62;If your baby was getting the recommended amount of ounces a day, but one less feeding than recommended...what would you do? &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We feed DS every 3 hours during the day and then typically twice at night, but thats only 6-7 feeds.  He is however getting the recommended amount of formula.  He does not cry for more during the day.  Only really crying when he is tired or irritated.
