If you're comfortable with it, you could also check your cervical fluid and get down anytime there's egg-white quality... but yeah, getting busy on a daily basis sounds a lot more fun :-) At least until your temperature spikes three days in a row. I'm not too savvy on the TTC lingo :) the rest I got. </p> <p>When were started TTC I read that you ovulate 14 days before the beginning of your cycle, which is why it's nearly impossible to know the exact day til after the fact.</p> <p>So I tracked on a calendar my cycle - it was pretty consistent since I'd been on BCP - and made estimates of ovulation date, and over a 3-4 day period we'd DTD to make sure we didn't miss it in case it was a day or two off. We landed the job, completed the move (well, not really, but we're living here now), and we can FINALLY start trying for a baby!<br /> We've been preparing for awhile. I got a preconception checkup, dental checkup, quit caffeine, started prenatals a few months ago, got to my ideal weight, and am currently finishing a raw food cleanse.</p> <p>I ordered OPK's, but I'm not sure they will get here in time.<br /> I'm currently on CD 2. My cycles are typically 25 days. If the OPK's don't get here in time, any thoughts on how to time things? I'm guessing I'll ovulate around CD 11, but that's just a guess.</p> <p>Agh, I'm so excited, and yet kinda confused still. Would love some advice, thoughts, suggestions, etc. :-) </p>
