But we just hung out a lot in the kitchen and family room which were the only two rooms without carpet. He peed on the carpet a couple of times but I had carpet cleaner and some rags nearby to clean it up quickly. But we are in the midst of potty training and I just watch him like a hawk. The moment he grabs himself we go over to the potty. It usually takes a few tries for him to go, but we haven't had too many accidents. If you have a certain area that you play in you could also just throw a few big beach towels down. I mean, there were a few accidents on the carpet, so I'd definitely get some carpet cleaner, but a tenant of OCPT is watching the kid like a hawk so I usually got him to the little potty with just a little amount of pee actually hitting the floor. We did a lot of activities in the kitchen too, just so it'd be easier to clean if there was an accident. Oh, and also, if you live somewhere with moderate weather, we tried to be outside on the deck/backyard a lot too.
