@Mrs. Sketchbook: It does seem that the vast majority of BF women on here have had a LOT of luck losing the weight afterwards, and it is definitely giving me hope!! :)

@Bookworm: if you are planning to BF, I think it really helps! I will say, I lost 20 in the first five days. The next fifteen took about five months, and the last five took four months! But this was with no effort whatsoever on my part.

Thanks y'all. I went home and had a good cry over it :p I've just had the worst self esteem lately, and the fact that I am going on vacation with my drop dead gorgeous cousins and stick skinny sisters (sigh, why did they get mom's genes?!) next weekend and I just feel so frumpy and dumpy and huge.

@Mrs. Sketchbook: Thank you for that! I'm definitely on track to gain about that much, and I'm pretty horrified by it at the moment :/ I hope it comes off easy-ish!

@runsyellowlites: Yeah it really blows my mind that people think it's a good idea to say anything but nice, complimentary things to a crabby, swollen, exhausted 3rd trimester lady! It's just asking for me to throw my chair at their head! J/K, but not really :p

Just a note of encouragement, I gained over 45 lbs when I was preg and lost every bit of the weight without exercising or dieting. I was just thinking today about how stressed out I was regarding my weight. It was all for nothing! Now I have a few vanity pounds to knock out, lol! Not fun! But those had nothing to do with preg.

That's so insensitive! I get offended when people say things like, not long now-- I immediately think, well I still have almost 3 months, do I look that huge?

You are growing a person and that's a beautiful thing, no matter what you belly looks like!

Whoa! That *is* upsetting! I think it's crazy that people say anything but "you look great" when you're literally growing a human... doesn't that deserve a little complimenting!

:( Aw. That was totally not nice of her. I would have bawled. The 3rd Tri is already hard enough, you don't need people's unwanted comments.

Today I went in my boss's office and she said "WOW! You are getting so big! Don't worry, you can start exercising and get back to where you were."

I know she probably didn't mean to come off as rude... but holy cow, did I take that personally. I KNOW I am huge. I know that I have gained a lot of weight and do not look good right now. I've seen the pics and yeah, I'm a whale. THANKS!

Sigh. I miss my body. :( Thanks for letting the oversensitive 30w pregnant lady vent.
