Ugh, I thought we were past the self injury a little but it seems to come back on rough days. I did put him in his crib for a little to "chill" with some music and stuffed animals and that helped him relax</p> <p>@Navy_Mommy: We ended up with change of scenery to target :) </p> <p>@autumnlove: We tried the outdoors, but even that was causing problems. </p> <p>Thanks for all of your ideas! I just go do something I need to do and let her cry it out. When she's having one of those days, no amount of trying to talk to her will do and she just needs a good cry. I do continue (once *I've* calmed down) to talk to her and see if she wants to cuddle or do "x", but I tell her she needs to calm down first.
