She lives about an hour away. There is a good chance that I have to make a multi-overnight trip for work either this week, meaning time away from 13 week old DD. I really just want to stay home this weekend and have time with just her, OH, and me.</p> <p>The dinner is just my mom, my sis, BIL, OH, myself, and our LOs. Sis and BIL only live fifteen minutes from me. I would spend less time cooking dinner and cleaning then I would travelling to my mom's. We'll also be seeing everyone on Thanksgiving. And I'm a better cook! :silly: </p> <p>FWIW, we don't celebrate my birthday or OH's. The only adult birthdays we do are my sis and BIL and this isn't a milestone birthday.</p> <p>Should I politely decline or offer to host instead? </p>
