Thanks Mrs. Bird! Do you think we could use it after the (future, currently imaginary ;)) baby grew out of say a Chicco Keyfit + stroller frame?

Maybe if you approached it by saying since you'll need to get a current carseat, the stroller won't work with it as a travel system. he might feel better since your not blaming the old stroller, just saying since new carseats won't fit with it, a new stroller might be in order.

So, my SO's family is shall we say, a very 'keeping' family. Not to mention sentimental. He just found the stroller that they used with his children (my stepdaughter is 13 and a half) and asked me if we wanted to use it -- keeping in mind that I'm not pregnant yet (heh).

Are there any safety factors that would prohibit us from reusing it? I don't want to reject it out of turn and give him the impression that what he used for his kids isn't 'good enough'. I'm also concerned with being able to clean it, though my SO is an extreme germaphobe so I don't think he would have offered it if it was a moldy mess or anything.

Would appreciate thoughts...thanks!!
