It's been a loooong time since I've been to OKC, but there's not a lot there! I think their indie scene has been developing over the last few years. If I were you, I'd research spas and have a spa day. :)

I'm not an OK bee, but we lived near OKC for a year. Based on my experience in OKC, Bricktown would probably be best. If you don't mind driving a little, I might stay in Norman. There are cute shops and restaurants near the university.

Hello! A friend is getting married in June in OKC and I am going with my bestie (no husbands and no kids!!!!) for a long weekend. We are wondering where to stay. The bride has suggested the Bricktown area, but when I looked on the website I saw that there is a ball park, a Bass Pro shop and what looks like an area awesome for festivals but perhaps dead otherwise.

I think that I can say we would both like to stay somewhere with some walking shopping/eating areas...cool indie shops (don't need to go to the mall!), and some yummy restaurants.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
