But I agree, as long as they sanitize I wouldn't have a problem with it. We were careful about taking LO out in public before her two month shots, but you do have to leave the house and there are always people around and you never know what they could be carrying. No kids other than siblings in hosp, yes, but that's all. Once people are sensible and don't visit if they have anything catching , and when they are visiting are sensible about clean hands etc, you're fine. His little cousin came over once to help watch our son (who was 3 months at the time) because we were heading out to run some errands at Ikea. He calls her while we're driving and reminds her to please wash her hands before touching the baby. She was soooo upset and offended and so was I! I mean, seriously, she's not gonna contaminate the baby and she's responsible enough to wash her hands (she was 21 years old!). She was doing us a favor by babysitting and he's calling her out on her "dirtyness".</p> <p>At first I was super annoyed but then my best friend pointed out that it's because he loves the baby so much so it cant' be a bad thing? He said it out of love. </p> <p>But still, I feel you girl! I was mad too! It's not like your friends wouldn't be careful around your baby. They have their own! They know what's it like right? Have a friend who is visiting next month from another state and she wants to meet the babies. She and another good friend both have young kids. So he is like no, they can't see the kids before the whole two month rule. I was like are u kidding or are u friggn serious. I mean come on, da heck. Who's friggn paranoid? He thinks people are only careful about their own babies and don't care about others. And mentioned my bro, who is extremely paranoid about his baby, but was wanting to bring his 19-month old son to our hospital room saying he was my son. Ugh so annoying and UNreasonable. I'm still pissed at him... </p>
