I had to spend a year studying for them. It was so stressful. They don't let you take them until they're sure you're going to pass, but that meant I had to bust ass to prove that I was ready. Yuck.</p> <p>DH is a social studies teacher 7-12, and he had to take something similar to yours. The science one would be tough, though, because it's basically 3 exams in one, yes? Murphy's law and all that. </p> <p>My kids have been sick since September. Both had ear tube surgeries in Nov/Dec and both have had ear infections since then. My daughter has a suspected dairy intolerance so we are in the middle of an elimination diet and had to quit formula a month early. She is also getting all 4 of her 1 year molars at the same time. My son has pneumonia. My brother was arrested and is now out on bail and is living with us until the end of the month while he gets back on his feet, so we are room sharing for the first time in our parenting careers. My house is trashed, I am exhausted. Oh, and I am starting a new job on February 1st, so my daughter will be going to daycare. I want to drink all the wine, but I don't drink anymore because my mom was an alcoholic and died last year and alcohol scares the crap out of me. </p> <p>I should write a book, but I don't think anyone would believe me. Now I am laughing. There are definitely moments of chaos when I'm home. We just got home from a 21 day trip with two people in the hospital so we are all getting over sickness. Luckily, I think we are almost all healthy. Anyway, house is a mess and you can only do so much between feedings when I get home.
