I'm the same, yesterday was rough with the vomiting and exhaustion so I'm like okay... 2nd tri rainbows and unicorns, where you at. The headaches have actually started for me but they are manageable. My OB said I could have a cup of coffee to combat them, and that combined with way more H2O intake has helped.</p> <p>OH and I got some great perspective this morning... I go to a mind-body specialist every month and she keeps track of how i'm physically doing each time we meet. It's clear that although I definitely still have moments of misery, I am MUCH better than I was a month ago. I was pretty comfortable with my second pregnancy. No morning sickness. Very comfortable sleeping without the need of a pregnancy pillow. The biggest issue I had was having GD. With my first I was nauseated and threw up every day multiple times until I delivered. With this pregnancy (17) weeks I had just a few days of nausea and only threw up a few times. </p> <p>I hated my first pregnancy. In addition to HG I was anxious, depressed and in so much pain that seemed unmanageable. This time around I have a much better doctor, went to therapy for the anxiety and depression (I had antenatal and PPD/ppa and was terrified of what would happen with #2) and found a team of people to help me manage the pregnancy related pain better. I don't love everything about being pregnant, but it's way better this time around. I'm enjoying it more and having more fun daydreaming about our future baby with my husband. </p> <p>I wish I had made different decisions about my prenatal care providers with my first pregnancy. I'm SO HAPPY I'm not pregnant. SO HAPPY. </p> <p>Mine was nowhere near as bad as a lot of people's so I know it could have been much much worse. But I really like having my internal organs in the places where they're supposed to be. Evening nausea from weeks 8-13, couple boughts of sciatica, heartburn for the whole second half, sore back and hips in the last month, and I missed wine a lot, but I still loved it! I loved my body more than any other time in my life. I was just amazed to be growing a baby. And I loved feeling movement.
