I think it depends on your career field. What do you do? If you have a license, is it up to date? For example, I'm a CPA and I have to take a certain amount of classes each year to keep my CPA license active. Personally, when I have interviewed people that have been out of work for awhile I tend to put them at a position lower than when they left because they aren't as up to date with current tax legislation, etc.

So I am facing the fact that I will have to be a SAHM for at least a little while. I have been on mat leave for almost my full year, but because we moved from Edmonton to Toronto, I have no job to return to.
Anyhow, I am absolutely PANICKED about returning to work. If I don't start my job hunt, how will I EVER get a job again? How long is too long to be at home?
Am I crazy? Will it be impossible to get another job? Should I relax and just enjoy this time? AHHHHH!!!!!
