We are in the same boat. I DIYed his crib skirt, and working on his crib sheet now, we painted his dresser, added a colorful rug, and yellow/green paper lanterns and tissue poms above his bed. We also added a fun chevron toy box - I wanted lots of color since we couldn't paint either. We have colorful furniture - grey crib, navy/white dresser and white changing table. </p> <p>Colorful curtain can add so much too! I love making baby blankets! And owls are awesome! (My dad had one when he was a teenager, so he was especially fond of them.)</p> <p>We already had the name Alexander Harold picked out (Harold after two of his grandfathers.) I got the Trumpette sneaker socks, a 0-3 month set of bib overalls, a super cute hooded towel set, and a cozy sleep sack. I'm really baffled by decorating the nursery, since blankets and quilted bumpers are apparently no-nos. We plan to call him Zane, though.) </p>
