We're up to three meals too and I haven't noticed much of a drop. DD nurses 5 times during the day and a couple of times most nights. I don't think she's taking in more than 4-5 oz at a time though, so it's too early for her to cut down on nursing.

Mine, almost immediately. I followed his lead at 6 months and now at 8 months, he nurses 3-7 times a day (i think smaller quantities, more frequently) and eats a fair amount of solids. He still gets 3 bottles/day at daycare at 3-4 ounces each, but that is more than I currently pump. So i think he nurses less when he's with me

Nope! She still drinks 4 bottles a day averaging 8.5–9 ounces each (34-36oz total).

when did they start dropping nursing/formula sessions?

We started slowly with purees at 5/5.5 months but DS quickly grew his appetite and now we're up to 3 solid meals a day.... He might be going through a growth spurt too but he also nurses 3x during the day (not counting morning and before bed) and I think we may be consolidating to two daytime sessions sooner than I anticipated with the way his solids/nursing/naps fall!
