I always say that sleep begets sleep. A good nap day leads to a great sleep night.

That is how it is for my daughter. If her first nap is a good nap, then the rest of her naps are good naps. If she only sleeps for 30 minutes, she has crummy naps the rest of the day. She always sleeps 12 hours at night but her sleep is more restless on days when she didn't nap well. She can nap from 4 pm to 6 pm and will fall right to sleep at her 6:45 bedtime but if she misses her last map of the day, it is much harder for her to fall asleep at bedtime.

I've heard it but even when the LO napped poorly, she would still sleep 12 hours at night so I guess it doesn't apply to all kids.

Anybody else ever hear this? Is the the same for bad sleeps? LO woke up early, then woke up early from her first nap because she poo'd. I'm hoping this nap lasts longer!
