I had an early ultrasound at the hospital that was way too early to see anything (4 weeks) because I was worried about spotting and some back pain and then went to see my doctor and he ordered the tests and another ultrasound in a few weeks. So my tests went until my hcg was 19,475 and there were 3. I just checked. I also had an initial hcg test done at the hospital when I went in the first time. </p> <p>I feel like maybe he did it because he was confirming the pregnancy. Although now that I know he does that I would request them again. He told me at what time that 3 was standard.
