Also make sure your amazon registry is set to searchable so that if people just look you up by name on a registry search they will find it. I had the worst time registering, couldn't decide what website/store to use, felt like I was settling for the little that was available at target online and in-store... and then at my first shower maybe 1-2 people bought stuff from the registries! </p> <p>For my work shower, I had a feeling that people would use it more, so I went through and fixed it depending on what I got from the first shower (mostly clothes so none of that was on the registry anyways), and I still ended up getting stuff I didn't need, duplicates, or things that in person I decided I didn't need after all. And not everyone gave gift receipts! They never specifically asked me, but I figured they either talked to DH or they knew anyway because I had shown them both. I think it just slipped their minds. </p> <p>But my Amazon one is much bigger and I want people to know about that one too. Any good way to get the word out? </p>
