I feel like digestive issues are tough for doctors to diagnose or maybe mine are just... inadequate physicians. I would only go if I was losing weight and felt like death for like 2 weeks.

Has something stressful come up in the last 2 weeks? I read somewhere that serotonin is directly related to your gut biome so that's why stress causes so many digestive issues. They're like instantly connected. For what that's worth.

Of course go if you’re worried.

You might also wait a couple weeks and start keeping a journal. You could also try a probiotic, I would think it won’t hurt. But generally write down everything you are eating/drinking (like caffeine) and when the BMs and symptoms happen. Note outside influences like stress. Digestive stuff can be hard to diagnose and I would think some data like this would help them not just shrug you off. And if it is somehow related to the virus, a couple more weeks should let it pass.

I’ve been experiencing some digestive issues for about 2 weeks now. On and off nausea, loose stools, frequent urgency. I thought maybe I was experiencing hormonal symptoms (period came and went last week) or a stomach bug (DS had one 2 weeks ago).

It’s been so randomly on and off - not seemingly related to particular foods - I’m worried that something else is going on. It’s not particularly painful but it’s pretty disruptive. Would you see a doctor in my situation?
