Depending on the internet browser you're using, there should be a setting to open links in a new tab or window versus the current browser window. What browser do you use?

I always have links open in a new tab (we can choose this when writing a post), but the default is not to open in a new tab for the bloggers. I will see if we can change that so it's the default to open in a new tab. I am a new tab person too!

Did you know you can hold down 'Ctrl' and then click on the link and that should open it in a new tab?

However, I forget to do this routinely so I'm with you, it would be nice to have it be an automatic setting.

I'm so used to automatically hitting "command" (at least on a mac) and then clicking to open in a new tab. I'm that person with a million tabs going at once!

I am a constant "right click/open new tab" person now. I think I've just trained myself because most of the websites I view open links within the same tab and I like to keep my original place, too.

Yeah I hate that it doesn't open up another window. So I started right clicking to and choose open in a new window.

It's not exactly the solution you're looking for, but if you right-click on the link, a menu will pop up and you can tell it to open the link in a new tab or window, and preserve your original window.

On a lot of websites when I click on a link it automatically opens a new tab so the place where I originally clicked is still available. I've noticed in Hellobee whenever I click on a link it opens in the same hellobee tab and then after I read the article (or whatever it was) I clicked on then I close out of the tab and I've lost the original hellobee tab.

It's a small thing... but I do it all the time and then I forget I was even in hellobee until later and i have to reopen it up later. If links opened in a new tab then i'd always stay in hellobee and be able to keep looking around easier.

Not sure if it's possible to change this... i'm by no means a tech person, just wanted to throw it out there :)
