<description>&#60;p&#62;When you get gifts at birthday parties, do you usually let your LO open them at the party, or do you do it later privately?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We never do it at our parties, it's just too chaotic. I prefer to do it at the end of the party once everyone is mostly gone so I can see what LO got (for thank you cards), and to make sure others don't help them open up all the new toys quite yet.
