They sorta dry but don't usually get darker. All tests get darker after that. I’ve been burned by saying oh that’s positive and giving up on bd too soon. I started using OPKs this month because my cycle has been wonky post miscarriage, and I have a question about the timing. I'm using Pregmate brand (Amazon cheapie) strips, and it says to check after 5 minutes, at which point this afternoon's test was a little bit lighter than the control line, but I forgot to throw it out right away (ew, I know) and ~30 minutes later the test line was def. darker than the control. I have no idea if it's normal for OPKs to keep getting darker, or if the tests are defective, or if it's actually a positive and just took a little more time. Does anyone know if that's normal and what it might mean? </p>
