@peaches1038: There will always be a second line because there is always LH in our system. A line that light either means she isn't close to ovulation or it already happened a while ago. Tell her to just keep testing.

@lioneyes: ah ok. Does a light line mean that you are close to or just finished ovulating? Or does it mean nothing unless you have 2 lines that are the same darkness?

None of those are positive so I would keep testing- she might have 30 day cycles but could O early or late.

A positive OPK is 2lines of the same darkness, unlike a pregnancy test you do get a second line when you test and it’s negative but it’s light like in the pic.

I would also suggest she test multiple times a day- I usually do morning and night then go up to 3 a day when it’s close to positive/positive so I can track exactly when.

So my sister is on her second round of TTC for her first baby. She went off the pill in November (mid-pack). She was supposed to ovulate today and started taking the tests on Tuesday. Left to right is Tuesday to today. She takes them at the same time every day (around 5:30pm). Does it look like she ovulated early since they look to be getting lighter? I wasn’t sure bc the control lines aren’t super dark and solid so maybe it’s a bad batch? Maybe her body is still adjusting? She has 30 day cycles. Theyve been DTD every other day since Friday so hopefully she still caught it. Anyway, thanks for the help - I haven’t used them before so bought I’d ask the hive!
