That looks positive to me. In my experience, I never really got anything that truly looked positive, but the digital gave me a smiley face. I know I ovulated b/c I'm 37 weeks pregnant now. :) Definitely recommend the digital to help you know for sure.

@mango.sprays: haha! I did that this morning too! I woke up thinking it was between 1-3am didn't check the clock and went back to bed...then 5 minutes later DH's alarm went off. Oh well...

@april_showers I really had to go when I first woke up and forgot and wasted all that precious pee - lol! I did test around noon today and it was definitely a negative again.

I'm assuming there was a surge yesterday somewhere among all these, and we BDd last night and will again today...hopefully that'll just cover our bases.

@kentyckygirl That's a great plan to only use the digitals when I'm not sure. Will have to pick up a few for next cycle!

@mrsjyw thanks! that's great to know that the positives aren't always "textbook" looking

And to further complicate everything, my only 1 month old BBT thermometer showed a weird symbol this morning (was it a battery symbol? it was 5:30am so I was not thinking clearly!) so now I'm wondering whether it's giving me accurate temps at all...! Hahaha...remember when this was supposed to be my "figure things out" cycle!?

For me, those are negative. With the Wondfo's I get very strong positives when I O, but when I get really close they start to look like those. Did you test today?

FWIW, I hope the other ladies are correct in believing it is positive, just wanted to share my experience. Best wishes!!!

What I am doing is using these Wondfo's but when I get a close to positive test, I use a digital OPK with the same sample to help me determine if it is truly positive or not. It has allowed me to buy just one box of digitals and use it over several months. From what I can see, IMO, I don't think that is quite a positive test.

Personally, some of my tests were similar to yours (maybe a shade lighter) and did not get a smiley (positive) on the digital. NOT that this is the case with you, but I don't think I ovulated with a mature follicle on months were my test looked like this.

OR you may have just missed testing during your LH surge by a little bit. Either way good luck, and I would BD, because it could be positive!!

looks like a positive to me... most of my 'positive' opks the two lines weren't always the same darkness!

@chibee thank you! that's what I'm thinking might be the case...the lines never show up really "solid" anyway. I may or may not have like 60 of these cheapies hanging out at my house right now so I'll try to make them work for now......:-p

Oh, and this one was later that night (6 hours later-ish)....
and this morning it was considerably lighter again, so I'm wondering if they are actually +

Thanks for any opinions!!

I've read that a "half" positive like that (where one half of the test line is positive but the other half is negative) is considered a positive. Basically, you count whatever the darkest color of the test line is, if the line is varying in color - but I recommend getting a digital OPK to confirm. This is exactly why I splurged on the clearblue bc i sucked at interpreting them!

Okay girls, this is my first month using OPKs and I swore I would just try to get the hang of things and not obsess.................but seriously, that's impossible. So here is my test from yesterday afternoon (the one on the bottom). It's not quite positive, right?? It was just so much darker than any I'd seen until this point, but I don't really want to mark + in FF unless I'm sure....
