I experienced something similar this month (my first month off BC). I got progressively darker OPKs until CD 16, then they got lighter again and then darker until CD 22. They were never fully positive, just darker than the last day. Then I just gave up and decided we'd NTNT this month since my body is likely just regulating now.

This morning I had 2 different pregnancy/baby dreams so I decided to do an OPK this afternoon. Its finally positive!!! Today is CD 32. Really hoping this is it!

I have my fingers crossed for you too! Long cycles are frustrating.

I've been reading tcoyf and it says that some women get false LH surges before they get the real LH surge. So it's possible that u had a small surge but not enough for ovulation. I'd probably keep watching the temps with the opks and ull probably O closer to when ur expecting to. Hope that helps!

@HILSY85- If I was gearing up would I get a high temp? Because I haven't yet. Hope you're feeling well!

It might mean that your body was gearing up to O, but then didn't for some reason? Fingers crossed that you get a positive one soon!

I am at CD20 and have been using OPKs since CD14. The first was stark white, the second had a light line and then the next was a little darker, but the past 3 tests have all looked the same!?

I didn't O until CD35 last cycle so I guess it would be too good to be true to ovulate two weeks before, but I was getting so excited when the lines were getting darker! Any ideas?

Thank you!
