My positive opk came four days later this month than last month. So don't get discouraged. And good luck with the strips. Why'd you switch?

Well just like everyone else has said, stress can definitely change your ovulation days. I typically get a positive OPK between day 18-day 20. Last month I tested up until day 23 and never saw a positive. However, that same week our dog passed away unexpectedly, which was of course super sad and stressful. I am assuming I didn't ovulate until almost day 30ish considering my cycle ended up being 45 days.
I have used both the digital OPK and the wondfos. So far this cycle I am using the wondfos. I am also on cycle day 18 (cycle twins!!) and I too am only seeing a faint line. Just keep testing, you might just be having a longer than normal cycle! I will also continue to test.
Good luck!!! Hope you see a positive OPK in these next couple of days.

Stress was such a factor in my cycle - the latest I ever ovulated was the month DH and I fought SO MUCH late into the night for a week straight - stress has a crazy effect on the body!

Mine also got darker as I neared ovulation. I tested twice a day with the cheapie wondfos and when it looked like a positive opk, I confirmed with a digital opk right away to be sure. Good luck!

Mine start faint and get darker as well and do vary a couple days from month to month. I gave up on the wondfos though because I got tired of trying to interpret them. I use clearblue digi, regular (not advanced) version. I wouldn't worry. :)

Stress can affect things. Keep testing--mine do start faint and grow stronger.

im worried my stress is messing up my ovulation. I have been ovulating between cd 16 and 19 at the latest. Currently cd 18 and the opk sticks are starting to develop a faint line but no positive yet. DH thinks that the fact that there is a small line present is a good sign- that it is coming. I did switch from digital to the wandfos?(sp) this month
