I think you can have false positives with OPKs, so I'd at least keep charting (temping) and keep taking OPKs until you're sure you ovulated.

Hi there!

So I'm wondering. Should I test with opks every day until it turns negative again?

I would! If you get a positive OPK I would BD every day until a temp shift and one after. Especially if you are still having EWCM.

Would that be another way to determine for sure the time frame I ovulate?

Charting CM. OPKs do not confirm ovulation, only your Lh surge. They can be faulty. I would also want to know how many positive OPKs I'm having before my temp shift. Having multiple days of positive tests could mean your surge is there but ovulation is not happening. It's hard to say without seeing your charts.

Okay so this last month made me mad because I apparently ovulated 5 days after a positive OPK. I saw a temp shift in my chart so we stopped trying (day after +), and when I had no spotting at 11 dpo like I normally do, I got excited. Until I realized taking out the positive OPK test changed my O date on FF.

Now I'm CD11 based on the later date and I saw a tiny bit of brown this morning. So I'm probably out again.

So I'm wondering. Should I test with opks every day until it turns negative again? Would that be another way to determine for sure the time frame I ovulate?

We went to the doctors this month and for a referral for a specialist but we were told it could take 7 months. In the meantime I'll have to go for blood tests, DH for SA, etc but we thought we'd try one more month before putting ourselves through all that. So I want to make this count.
