Thank you all so much! I was feeling a little lost. I feel more confident going out and buying them. Wish me lots of luck!

1. I personally preferred the Wondfos. Cheap, and it was nice to be able to see the surge fading in (though not everyone gets the fade-in).

2. Depends on how long your cycle is. If you have no idea when you O, I'd start on 10dpo the first month to make sure you don't miss it. As others have said, you O 12-36 hours after the positive usually.

3. We went with every other day, starting around 10dpo and ending usually on O day. Once you have confirmed O, more BD doesn't do much. Its BDing before that is best.

3. I would start BD every other day starting at 10dpo. Its more important to have sperm waiting when the egg releases.

1. I liked the cheap Wondfos when I first started using OPKs because I tested a lot and didn't want to spend a ton of money.

2. I think day CD 10-13 would be a good day to start. My other advice would be to keep using them if you're not 100% sure you got a positive. The first couple months the lines on mine would get dark, but not the same as the control. Then one month I kept using them later (past CD19) and got a blazing positive and found out that I ovulate late.
You can also try testing more than once a day (morning and afternoon) - some people test better at a different time.

3. You can start BD as soon as you get a positive (and a few days before too). like @simplyfelicity: said, you usually ovualte 12-36 hours after a positive, and you want to have BD'd in the time before that.

4. Personally, I would BD three days in a row after a positive just to make sure I hit my O day (tried to do every other day leading up to it). But it really depends on your preference!

@ChasingARainbow: You usually O 12-36 hours after your first positive OPK. Here is a link where I asked what everyone's favorite OPK was. Some women have a longer surge of LH and others have a shorter. If you have a shorter one, you might want to test more than once a day.

1) I don't know which are considered the absolute best, but I really liked the Clearblue digital ovulation tests, because I needed that smiley face to tell me I was gearing up to ovulate!

2) The instructions on the OPK will tell you a certain day to start, but I always started around day 10, because I knew I ovulated between day 13-17, based on past charting.

3) The OPK detects your LH (luteinizing hormone) surge, and that usually happens a few days before you actually O. You can start BD as soon as you get a +, and of course, before you get one, too.

4) I really think you can do either! Some people prefer every day, some think it's best to have a break in between days. The cycle I got pregnant, I *think* we did every day for 3 days after I got that +.

So I have a few questions. I'm currently ttc and decided to start using opk's, but before I go buy them I need to know a few things.
1st Which opk's are the best?
2nd When do I start using them or what cycle day?
3rd Once I get a :bfp: when do I start BDing? Do I O on :bfp: days or after?
4th Once I get :bfp: do I BD every day or every other day? Sorry, but I get confused seeing I've never done this before?
