I had a step-cousin who was boy jesse, and literally at family functions we were called Girl Jessie and Boy Jesse...HATED IT (plus who at age 8 wants to start sharing their named with a new cousin haha) </p> <p>I always said i would never give gender neutral names to my children....AND that didn't happen. My daughter is Emerson and we strongly considered Kellan for our second daughter. I just happen to like strong names for girls.
