I also try to do a big purge twice a year right before a new season. For example, I'll gather all the old spring/summer clothes and list them in May. I use a local FB buy/sell group and a site here similar to Craigslist. Between the things I have bought, gifts, hand me downs and having clothes lent to me T has about 3x more than she needs.</p> <p>I just save my sisters boy hand me downs- T wears some classic items like HA PJs or nice Gap sweaters, but the really boy stuff I just keep. @littlejoy has fab style and a daughter a year older so T wears a lot of borrowed clothes that are some of my faves. MIL shops to shop and most things I get T in 1-2x I sell most of what she gives us. I pre bought a fair amount of items for her on sale for her first year, now I feel like I should not be buying much else because we have so much already. What do you do to stay organized? I just have bins with future sizes in her closet and past sizes in the basement. How do you get rid of items you don't think you will reuse? I resell at a consignment shop but I feel like I get little back. HB classifieds seems like a lot of work.</p> <p>We have streamlined our life a lot and try to be more simple, I rarely buy much anymore, but I'm having a hard time with this one area. </p>
