As a "specials" teacher in a public school it's always extremely thoughtful when students bring me a card or gift. But I don't think it's necessary, just nice if you decide to. So often we are the "forgotten" ones, haha.

DS goes to an in-home montessori where the director watches him for maybe a couple hours before his main teacher shows up. I was thinking of getting the director a bundt cake and gifting his teacher $50 to Target. There's a toddler teacher there as well. She'll occasionally hold DS when I go to pick him up, but I don't think she cares for him persay. Should I get a giftcard for the toddler teacher as well? Will it be awkward if I don't?
