@mrbee: Oh, yogurt is a good idea, too! He just had a tooth pop through yesterday, so I'm assuming the next one will be up sometime this week. I stocked up on teething biscuts and tablets, so I'll try to make some popsicles today, too!

@Honeybee: freezing fruit purée could work! Or you could water down juice, or freeze yogurt!

@mrbee: We have not tried either with him yet! Do you just freeze fruit puree? I think he's too young for juice yet?

@mrbee: I've never used teething tablets but I've heard a lot of people rave about them! Maybe I'll give those a try!

We don't actually have any pacifiers. :) DS stopped taking them aft a couple weeks old. He's so picky!

@Honeybee: Any luck with a frozen paci? A lot of people swear by these teething tables too:

@mrbee: We have the most luck with frozen washcloths or the mesh feeder with frozen fruit. He'll chew on a regular frozen teether for a couple minutes, but not longer than that. The next teeth coming in should be the canines so it's hard for him to get stuff that far back on his own.

@Honeybee: zombie baby! ;)

no advice yet, but I have a feeling I'm going to have this same problem when my son does start teething, he's 2 months old and already likes to chew on me when he can!

@mrbee: He doesn't like teethers but he'll chew on cloth (burp cloths, blankets, my sweater). I do try to give him cloth to chew on, so the biting mostly happens when I'm carrying, rocking, or holding him.

Eta: and it happens even when he's holding a cloth in his hands. I was rocking hi just now with a burp cloth and he still bit me! I think he has a taste for flesh...

DS is 7 months with a mouth full of teeth. He just got #8 in and I think he's working on his next set already. :( When he's teething he bites me... a lot. My shoulders and chest are all covered in little baby teeth marks and bruises, and just a minute ago he left a big mark on my upper arm.

When he bites I say "ouch! No biting!" loudly and either put him down or move him so he can't reach my skin with his mouth. I know he's just doing it because his poor little gums hurt but I'm a little afraid it's going to become a habit (especially since his teething doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon)! Do you have a better strategy to try? What has worked for you?
