I have had two female society finches for a year and a half now, I got a male in the summer and they laid clutch after clutch of the tiniest little eggs - think Cadbury mini eggs- and after 3 weeks they would never hatch so I would throw them out, well they laid eggs just after Christmas and they hadn't hatched and I was thinking I should throw them out and to my surprise, what do I come home to after work today?! But baby birds! There are at least five that I can count! Momma and Papa are switching out every five minutes, eating and then going and feeding their little mouths, they have the tiniest little peeps! I'm so excited!</p> <p>The crazy TTC lady in me is a little jealous that my birds, after 8 months of trying, have had babies and I, on the other hand, after over a year of trying, have not, but still, I'm happy for the birds, and hopefully this will give me something to focus on and watch instead of thinking about TTC! Ha! I really hope they all make it, they seem to have great parents taking care of them! </p> [attach=3525/14/n08eqk.450x600.image.jpg]
