I'm sorry, LO got a cold when she was 3 weeks old and it was so sad! We had her sleep in the rock n play so she was upright a bit, which helped her breath better. Also got a humidifier. And we used saline drops and a snot sucker to clean out her nose. It took like 2 weeks to clear up. Sucked so bad :(

Aw, poor little girl. I hope she starts to feel better asap! I used this when L had a cold as an infant. It helped a little with his congestion, I think. Otherwise I felt a little better that I was doing something to try and ease congestion!

Aww that's no fun, I hope she feels better soon! I remember a miserable babywearing in the bathroom w/a hot shower running experience when DD was little, hoping that steam would work miracles. Hang in there!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: humidifer and Tylenol when she had a fever. I think i used the bulb instead of snot sucker...just seemed better for a small babe. The cold lingered for a couple of weeks but she didn't get sick for a long time after that!

Poor C! K had a cold at 3 months, and even then I thought she was super little! We just did lots of nursing, sat in a steamy bathroom, used a humidifier in her room, and suctioned her nose.

She's 16 days old and has caught a cold from DH and I.

We took her to the ped this morning and my heart is breaking. She's too tiny to be sick!
