You can pick a few to bring home, and create a special place in your house that changes with the season. Toddlers love finding treasures, and older kids can get into the aesthetic and the imaginative quality of them. It's a great way to talk about the changing of the seasons, and to tell stories, too.</p> <p>My daughter is only 11 months, and the snow is just starting to melt here, so our activities are limited. We go for walks with her in the carrier and tell her what we see and here, and let her touch things like trees, branches, etc.<br /> sometimes to break up the day I just carry her around our driveway/yard area and show her things. She points where she wants to go, and asks what things are "that". We go through the huge container of bubbles often. We also have a cozy coupe car that we push him in or he pushes around. We take some of his inside push toys out too. He also has a little slide. Every kid loves bubbles. I'm not sure how old your LO is, but Sadie is 13m and really just likes exploring. She loves to run around in the grass, and pick up different things. She brings them to me to ask what they are (leaves, flowers, etc.).
