I like that we aren't committed to one big structure, but the only thing we need is swings! We can see swings from our yard a 3 minute walk to the park though, but our kids would spend alllll day on the swings! It got a ton of use between 18 months to 3 years. Then she started going to school 3 days a week and we had a super super hot summer (and the sun is in the backyard in the afternoon/evening) so it didn't get as much use but still great for when friends came over with their kids or the grandparents came to visit </p> <p>Now at 4 she can play out there by herself and entertain herself. The best part is when she has friends over they can play out there together with minimal supervision - we can see them through the sliding glass door and hear them easily. She's in school 5 days a week now but even just getting 30 minutes of play time while I prep dinner is awesome for her bc we can't always make it to a park. Even when it's super cold we just bundle her up and she loves playing outside and she can just come in and warm up easily. We love going to the many parks near us but having a big playhouse for swinging, sliding and climbing is so convenient for busy days or lazy days. That was almost 1.5 years ago and we still use it daily. They love swinging (we had baby swings at first, then switched to big kid swings), and can do that for an hour at a time. We only stop because I get sick of pushing them!
