I had my LO in 9 mo. leggings today (she's 3 mo.) and everyone was commenting on her "muffin top". Now I'm freaking out that none of her other new pants fit her.. and she has SO MANY. :(

Yes! My LO seems to be outgrowing clothes on a daily basis! She's 7 weeks and already 24"! I got teary the other day thinking about how fast she's growing! As much as I like it when she's napping and I have a moment to myself, I've been trying to hold her and enjoy this time as much as possible before I go back to work. I keep reminding myself that there will always be stuff to do (around the house, etc.) but she will only be this small once.

Oh yes. At 19 months, LO is on the verge of outgrowing the last of the "baby sizes" (18-24 mos). We're stocking up on 2T and even 3T now :(

My LO started out being too big for newborn stuff! Mostly because he was too long - 21 inches, 7 lbs 13.5 oz when born. I think we might have squeezed him into some newborn stuff the first few days home but afterwards, we were already putting him in the mostly 3 month clothes, which he took a while to fully fill out. By the time he got to the 6 month clothes, I was ready to give his clothes some more personality.

So I guess for me it was an achievement and testament to health instead of sadness over him not getting much use out of the stuff. Although I'm glad I hung onto all of his old clothes instead of giving them away to friends - our next LO is due in March and I've been having a blast going through all his old clothes and picking out which ones the new baby will probably wear first, especially home from the hospital. So it's been kind of exciting.

So hang in there! Maybe you'll get lucky and have another girl and you'll get to use them all over again! All our stuff is gender neutral since we didn't know we were having a boy the first time and we don't know what we're having this time either. And I think that's why I was ready for him to outgrow the baby stuff - to get him some little rocker duds!

Yep :( I was really sad packing away newborn clothes at 4 weeks... now I get sad doing more laundry of 3-6, 6 month clothes...and will soon have to pack up the 0-3, and 3 month stuff (he's 8 weeks today)...

While I'm glad for the nb sleep deprivation being over, I can't believe how my ds isn't the tiny lil newborn size anymore!!!

LO is 4 weeks old today and has started to outgrow stuff. Earlier in the week, one of her swaddles was too small. Yesterday we switched her into size 1 diapers, now today I put a pair of pants on her, and they gave her a muffin top! She fussed so much that I had to take them off.

This makes me sad! She shouldn't be allowed to get bigger yet. :-( On the flip side, I guess it means we're feeding her right.

Were you sad when your LO started outgrowing things?
