That said, she gets 1-3 hours on a average weekday, and more like 2-5 on weekend days. She gets 1-2 hrs a day. They have the kids out in all weather, except during heavy rain. But she's out there whenever it's sprinkling and she'll be out there when it starts to snow. The outdoor gear required is ridiculous, but I'm happy she's outside. If it's warm enough, she wants to be outside at the park or going for a walk. She's a very active kid, and she needs to be worn down. We go to the park every single day, unless it's raining or she's sick. I'll be back at work in December, so I guess then she'll mostly be inside due to weather anyway. I posted an article months ago (end of winter) that talked about how the average U.S. kid gets 4-7min of unstructured outdoor playtime a day. Some people said that sounded about right since it was winter time. So now that it's fall, how much time are you spending outdoors?
