Sometimes when my LO spits up / power chucks it's often due to trapped wind that's managed to work its way out, could it possibly be that? How old is LO?

@eeh @zippylef @keiki_mama it was definitely vomit :-( I guess that's why I'm more concerned. Maybe I shouldn't be?

If you overfed him, he would have thrown up very quickly after eating. We had that issue a lot when C was tiny.

It could be any number of things causing it.... or it could just be spitting up. It's not your fault. :) Also, don't feel guilty about the formula. If it makes your life easier and less stressful, it's good for everyone involved.

I doubt you overfed him. Babies spit up..that's just part of it. Don't feel guilty!! Since breastfeeding is based on supply and demand make sure you're trying to nurse him before you give him formula. If you just give him a bottle you aren't signaling to your body that it needs to produce more milk.

So since I have two weeks off from work I have been EBF to build m supply back up. DS has been taking 3 bottles at daycare, 2 formula and 1 breastmilk 4-5 oz per time because I can't pump that much at work.

We have been doing great and he hasn't had a bottle since Friday but got really fussy this afternoon so I broke down and have him 2 oz of formula. He was fine , super happy, the fell asleep. He woke up for his 6 pm feeding and I gave home 4oz because that's what he took and normally takes at daycare anyway. Well I picked him up about an hour and half later and the poor baby threw up alllll over me! I feel so bad for him. I feel like I overfed him to take the easy way out and now I feel like I'll do anything to build my supply back up. I've been getting lazy and its just so much easier to formula feed. Boo...I am torn! Not sure if I should call my ob's office to see if I can get an rx for something or what.
