Thanks again everyone for the suggestions! I looked at all of them and decided upon the Nature Made that's in one pill. I like it so far and have had no problem with it hurting my stomach.

i take the brainstrong prenatals - there are 2 pills in each packet, the multi-vitamin and the DHA. i like them, they've been easy on my stomach, and i really like that the DHA is vegan (i am not vegan, but the aftertaste of some of the other fish oils makes me sick, so it's nice that it doesn't have that)

I'm taking Belly Band chewable prenatals - I stink at swallowing large pills and didn't want the additional stress of trying to force down a gigantic pill every day. This one was the only chewable I could find that included iron - the taste isn't great but it's doable. It doesn't contain fish oil though so I take a separate fish oil supplement....sometimes. The taste of that one is putting me off right now so I stopped it but I'll probably resume it a bit later.

I take the Rainbow LIght once pre-natal. I am trying to find a DHA supplement. I had one that was not made from fish, because I was a little worried about mercury. But then I heard that non-fish DHA is not as good, so I've switched to a new one made from wild salmon.

I use Spring Valley. I got them at Walmart and they've been much better than the generic CVS ones I had before. It's just one medium sized pill a day - for those of us with bad gag reflexes, that is a good thing. :)

For over-the-counter, I like Rainbow Light Once a Day prenatals and DHA supplements. Easy on my stomach and only two pills (1 vitamin, 1 DHA capsule) once a day. You can get it at Whole Foods. I've also taken the Target brand and liked it too.

I'm currently taking Nature's Bounty Your Life Multi Prenatal because it was one pill that contained both folic acid and DHA. Maybe other prenatals came in two pills.

I'm not sure about One a Day or Centrum though.

So I made my first appointment today and when I called, the nurse told me to make sure to get an over the counter prenatal vitamin at least for right now. Does anyone have any recommendations? She only told me to make sure it was high in folic acid and DHA. I've taken One a Day vitamins in the past. Are their prenatal vitamins good? What about Centrum?
