But I also have those pains throughout the month! They can only officially diagnose you by surgery, because they have to see it. Based on my symptoms and other issues, they were "sure" I had it, but we decided not to have the surgery. I get them most when I am ovulating, but I do get them other times during the month sometimes. I have PCOS and endometriosis, so I am in a lot of pain a lot of the time! The way I described my feelings to my Dr was like a stabbing pain in my ovaries. During sex, it feels like DH's penis is jabbing my ovaries (sorry if TMI). Or another way to describe it is like my ovaries being ripped out of place.</p> <p>I hope this helps! I have always had those pains though. Certain positions are very painful, and others are better. I would talk to you dr just to make sure, but I don't think it is completely not normal. Of course I googled it, and google came up with things like "pelvic inflammatory disease" and "endometriosis" so I started freaking out. But it doesn't happen at any other time of the month, so I don't know... </p>
