@MrsHotDog: Being someone who ovulates somewhat irregularly, I don't think there's any reason you'd still be ovulating on CD17 that I know of; it could very well be 14, or 13, or 20, Haha. (I've O'ed on CD13, 13, 20 and 15...and maybe 16, pending! haha) My best guess is that it's not very likely you will O on CD17 again. Best of luck!

i think temping is probably the best way to know for sure - but I wasn't very good at doing it because of my erratic wake-up times.... But I found OPKs extremely helpful because I was ovulating a whole week later than I thought I was! once i got more tuned into it I noticed ewcm, but the opks were super helpful.

@MrsHotDog: Hi! If you aren't charting or using OPKs, there's really no way to know for sure. When you were TTC the first time, were you tracking CM? Is it the same now?

I know that there is no way of knowing for sure without taking an OPK but I wanted to see what everyone's best guess would be. When I came off of BC to start TTC baby number one, I consistently ovulated on day 17. I came off BC last month after being on it for 7 months and my cycle stayed the same. Do you think that I would probably still ovulate on day 17 or could my body have switched to day 14 because of my pregnancy? Like I said, I know there is no way of knowing without testing but I really don't want to start testing, charting or temping already. We are in no rush to get pregnant right away but I like knowing what my chances are.

P.S. Yesterday was day 14 and I haven't had any discharge so I am thinking I still might be a late O'er.
