This is why I like Wondfos, you can see when its almost positive, and some people (like me) get a fade in effect to see its on it's way.

Peestick Paradise (formerly Peeonastick.com) had a page showing a cycle with OPKs, and she would've missed her surge if she hadn't checked twice. I can't find the page though...

I think it helps to test a few times a day because you might have a short surge. That's why I use wondfo cheapees. This month I had barely a surge at all.

Thanks ladies. That makes me feel better. Maybe I will try testing 2x a day next month before we actually TTC.

I missed mine last cycle. Got an almost positive OPK but not a truly positive one. Definitely ovulated though, had a temp rise and two weeks later a BFP.

I've never missed mine, but I've heard it's possible.

Some people's LH surge is super short. So it is possible you missed it.

I think they recommend testing at least 2 times a day when you "think" there might be a surge. I normally test in the morning and at night when I thought I was about to have a surge to make sure that was good time to BD.

Anyone else have this happen? I have been testing once a day since Friday, but no smiley face. Yesterday was have been day 14 of my very regular 28 day cycle and I had all the ovulation symptoms Sunday night into yesterday (EWCM, cramping) but no smiley face. Is it possible to somehow miss it?

We're actually not TTC, so it's not a big deal, but I was hoping to have confirmation that I ovulated before we went on vacation, so we wouldn't have to be quite so careful!
