I did mine around 3 pm. My cycles are long and I didn't get my positive for the cycle I got pregnant until CD 22. Keep trying.

I only used OPKs once a day. I've heard that afternoon time is best but I always did mine at night - around 8-8:30 p.m. and had results. I don't think it's necessary to do it twice a day though. But 3 days of negative is nothing! I used OPKs for almost 30 days last cycle, LOL!

I got my strongest positives in the afternoon to evenings.

I didn't temp, my sleep is all over the place so temping didn't work for me.

I do love tracking my period, OPK & HPT tests and BD days with iPeriod app.

I got my best/strongest lines at around 4 in the afternoon. Maybe try testing in the morning and afternoon.

I also agree with @Mrs. J: temping plus OPK's (and checking CM) will give you the best result. Fertility friend helps with explaining and tracking all of those methods.

I heard your LH is stronger in the afternoon. I never got a truly positive OPK, so don't despair! A positive OPK cannot confirm whether you're ovulating or not--it just shows the surges that might indicate ovulation. You can confirm it with temping, though. (That's what I ended up doing)

Also, like @kjfromnj: said, you're probably still early in your cycle.

I tested CD10-20. Fertility Friend advises NOT to test with FMU. I tested around 10am-noon daily. I got my positive OPK I think on CD17? I only had one day positive but some people get two. If you are resting around CD10 and this is your third day it's probably too early for a positive if your cycle is normal, I think normal is right around CD15? You should sign up for fertility friend (free) to track this. They also have a fertility course to teach you these things.

I've heard its best to test in the afternoon, but it depends on what brand of test you have.

I tested every morning and then in the early evening. I used wondfos and then digitals to verify a positive.
