For me it's also worse/more noticeable post-baby. But it's not as bad as you are describing.

Sadly, what you describe is normal for me. It's basically like having PMS twice per month. I'm nervous for how it will be once I finally get AF again (currently 11 months postpartum).

Before babies my ovulation was pretty simple - maybe some twinges but that's all

After babies - ovulation is WORSE than my period. I get cramps that require a heating pad, migraine, and bloat - its sucky!

My OB/GYN said there isn't a "normal"

Mine seems to be different every cycle. Sometimes I get mild period-like cramps. Sometimes I get a weird ache. I always get tired after O. Like, need a nap every day tired.

I talked with friends who have described similar symptoms. I've never had it that bad, but I also didn't pay attention/was on the pill for so long. Is it your GP or OB you talked to about it?If you aren't comfortable with your doctor's response could you seek a second opinion?

For as long as I can remember, every time I ovulate it's the same thing. I get pain, painful bloating, fatigue, headache, dizziness and super emotional. The pain that I get is a constant dull ache for 1-2 days with some sharp cramps thrown in randomly throughout the day, and it's always on one side. Ovulation has been confirmed through OPK's, temping, and ultrasounds so I know that's what I'm feeling.

I'm just curious if anyone experiences this or something similar? I've asked my doctor multiple times if it's normal to be affected this much and he just tells me that everyone is different.
