@Bubbles: Oh wow!!!!

So the OWT probably means nothing but I got a little excited that it sounded different! I would be super thrilled to have a 2nd sweet girl, but my heart is definitely kind of hoping for a boy to get the opportunity for DH to have a mini-me the way H is my little mini-buddy. I feel guilty admitting that bc I don't want to prefer one over the other when we're so blessed to be pregnant. But ever since the US tech told me the placenta is on my right ( Ramzi-boy) I have tried to keep from getting my hopes up but it's hard not to!

I have a boy and I would say his heartbeat sounded most like a barking dog through the doppler!

Both of my boys heartbeats sounded like a helicopter to me. So not sure which one that leans to?

My boy sounded a horse to me! I loved hearing him. He still sounds pretty fast when he climbs on my head and I get a good listen to his baby heartbeat.

Both of my kids sounded like galloping horses to me if I found the heartbeat in a certain spot. I heard it earlier with my girl. I can't wait til next week! Make sure to eat something sweet so baby moves around for a good shot!

When I have dopplered my LO this pregnancy the few times at home, it always sounded like what I expect it to after hearing my DD's so much in my first pregnancy.

Last night, I dopplered for the first time in a while, definitely the first time in 2nd tri, and it sounded so different. I listened hard and it almost scared me bc it had a rhythm I had never heard. I realized it sounded like a train. I could almost hear "I think I can, I think I can...." To the beat!

Then a bubble popped up in my brain and I remembered reading somewhere that boy HB sound like trains, girls sound like galloping horses.

What was yours like and what did you have?

What's weird is that this LO initially sounded galloping. But now that the HB has slowed down bc baby is bigger, it's a train.

Think it means anything or just another useless OWT to drive us nuts?
