Covered it with gauze and some more cream. Just took a look at it and it's <i>still</i> seeping and hurting like a *creative expletive*. Yes. I was getting out of the third row seat, reached out to grab the top of the car door to steady myself, missed, and fell straight down onto my hands and knees with all my body weight. I'm holding H on my hip so I can't put my arms or hands out to catch myself - ankle twists, I lose my balance, H hits the grass (I twisted him away from the concrete and cushioned his head with my hand, yay mom reflexes), knee meets concrete and pain shoots up my leg. After i get back to my feet and pick H back up, I look down and ugh...</p> <p>By the time I tot back to the house with toddler and mail, this is what my skinned knee looks like (plus the deep gash on my anole). Yowch. And I have a blur and purple bruise on my other knee now. Stupid gravity...</p> <p>Gravity sucks.
