That is what we do with our Boon Flair but it is adjustable height. The cheap high chair that seems to have a cult following is the Ikea chair. Might be worth looking into if your Oxo can't be fixed. FWIW, my Boon broke at one point and the sent me half of a new chair no questions asked. That is fantastic to hear. The velcro is so gross and the main reason I would never buy this high chair again. I complained about the Velcro on my seat and they sent me about 50 new pieces for free. The tray no longer stays on. It slides right off. Complete mess this morning and we can't deal with it anymore. Has this happened to anyone and has anyone gotten a replacement part? I can't find one. I bought it at buy buy baby. What is a cheap high chair alternative in case I have to fully buy a new one. I have a new baby coming up soon on needing one so I have to have a high chair. Ugh. </p>
