Ummm... how did this go for you @babynumber1: ?? My LO is 15 months and a paci addict. We started taking it away cold turkey last night. She cried on and off for 90 mins. Same thing right now at nap time. I'm starting to think this is cruel and unusual punishment, but I feel like I can't go back now... it's so awful!

Oh man. Following this. DD used to only have hers for nap aNd night but in the past few months has decided she wants it all the time! I especially want it gone by the time the new baby shows up in April. Good luck!

LO will be 18 months on Thanksgiving and is extremely attached to her paci's. We have decided that during the day it has to go. She is constantly plucking one in her mouth and doesn't speak as much with it in, so I'm anxious to get rid of them.

We will still keep them at naps and nighttime for now. Those will be our next challenge.

Any tips? This girl loves her paci's!
